Sr. Engineer- Product Application Engineering - GaN Automotive

Kay Song holds a degree in Renewable Energy Engineering from Carleton University, Canada. She joined GaN Systems as Power Electronics Engineer in 2022, and after becoming part of Infineon, she has been working as a Product Application Engineer, focusing on GaN transistors in automotive applications.

In her role as a Product Application Engineer, Kay provides go-to-market support for power module products and specializes in device-level knowledge of GaN switches, including power stage layout design for discrete GaN switches, electrical and thermal simulation, dynamic characterization, and competitive analysis.
