In this webinar we will explore the specific design challenges that are associated with static protection switches and how the new OptiMOS™ 5 Linear FET 2 in 100 V addresses these challenges.

OptiMOS™ 5 Linear FET 2 in 100 V was designed to provide the lowest RDS(on) and a robust safe operating area (SOA) in the same device. Combined with an optimized transfer characteristic that allows for improved current sharing this makes it an ideal device for battery protection in battery management Systems (BMS) by enabling higher power density with less components for overall system cost optimization.

Additionally, this is a great fit for hot-swap system that use the linear mode operation for inrush current protection and are commonly found in telecom, server and AI servers.
