The 40W LED driver with isolated 0 – 10 V dimming interface is available to quickly assess the performance and assess the bill of materials. The demoboard supports universal input voltage from 90-305 VAC, a wide output voltage range from 15 - 45 VDC and isolated 0-10 V dimming for LED lighting applications. The design is using the Infineon components XDP™ ICL8105 digital flyback controller, the CDM10V as solution for isolated 0-10V dimming, and 800V CoolMOS™ CE   .dp Interface Gen2 Board can be ordered here .dp Vision Software is available  here ICL8105 system simulation and design creation tool is available  here XDP TM GUI builder is available  here

Features

  • Single-stage flyback with power factor correction (PFC) and high-precision primary side-controlled constant current output. Excellent current accuracy of typ +/-3% across wide line/load to maintain aconstant light output
  • The ICL8105 supports isolated 0-10 V dimming without the need for extra ICs. Extended dimming is supported down to 1% of the nominal load. Besides, the dimming curve is adjustable (linear / eye adapted).Configurable voltage levels ensure that min and max current can always be achieved, making the application robust against dimmer & component tolerances
  • The CDM10V is used to transmit analog voltage based signals from a 0-10 V dimmer to the dimming input of the ICL8105. The CDM10V thereby drives an external opto-coupler with a current based PWM signal.
