The BCR602 demo board features a 60V linear DC/DC LED controller IC for general lighting applications, offering linear current regulation, protection features, and flexible dimming options. It is designed for evaluating cost-efficient, reliable, dimmable LED engines/modules with a 200mA output current. Additionally, a modular reference design with the XDPL8218 board is available.

  • LED current precision ±3%
  • 3% analog dimming or 1% PWM dimming of LED current at pin MFIO
  • Board suitable for assembly with transistor packages of types SOT-223, DPAK and TO-220
  • Rset functionality at pin MFIO
  • Flexible input capacity selectable as ceramic SMD device or as electrolytic capacitor
  • Hot plug protection to minimize LED inrush current
  • Over-temperature protection function vs junction temperature
  • Various probe connection pins for easy system analysis
