CY4531 evaluation kit (EVK) is based on EZ-PD™ CCG3 family (CYPD3xxx) of USB Type-C controller with power delivery. This EVK is primarily intended to be an evaluation vehicle for USB Type-C systems specifically for downstream facing port (DFP) and dual role port (DRP) applications. This kit can also be used to demonstrate and evaluate an end-to-end Type-C system using the CY4501 EZ-PD™ CCG1 development kit.
