About
The Counter component provides a method to count events. It can implement a basic counter function and offers advanced features such as capture, compare output, and count direction control.
The Fixed-function (FF) implementation is available for PSoC™ 3 and PSoC™ 5LP devices, supporting 8-, 16-, 24-, or 32-bit counters with up, down, or up-and-down configurations. You can also utilize optional compare output and capture input, along with enable and reset inputs for synchronization with other components. Choose between continuous or one-shot run modes for added flexibility.
