Our 77 GHz FMCW radar transceivers (CTRX), built on advanced 28 nm technology, enable high-resolution sensing with dense point clouds and precise range, angle, and velocity information. They support fine object detection, separation and classification for high-fidelity imaging radar and offer flexible cascading for multi-channel, multi-antenna systems with enhanced field of view and angular resolution.
Optimized for centralized radar architectures and future domain and zonal ECU concepts, Infineon's 77 GHz radar solutions support automotive applications such as ACC, LCA, highway and traffic assist, parking assist, and AEB. Mounted in the corners and front of the vehicle, they enable high-quality environmental perception and support safer, more automated driving, enabling next-generation autonomy at level 2+ and beyond.
Centralized radar overcomes the compute and memory limitations of traditional radar modules by sending rich raw sensor data directly to a high-performance central computer.
