The people. Especially within CSS, I truly feel we have some of the smartest people around working on our team.

Promoting CSS products to key customers in the consumer and home appliance sectors and helping to define the next generation of products to better suit our customers’ needs.

We work with a variety of companies in the Consumer space to provide their connectivity solutions, white goods customers to provide their HMI and connectivity solutions, and also wearables customers where our products provide sensing and connectivity solutions.

Working with cutting-edge customers developing solutions 2 to 3 years before the market would even be aware of them. Also that every day and with every customer, you learn something new.

Getting the attention of the right people at the right time internally to make sure we execute our plans.

Push yourself and others more, and don’t be scared to rock the boat. Challenge and change is what drives us forward, and if you have a constructive opinion, it will always be valued, so don’t be afraid to share it.

Six years later, here I am in my current role as Application Manager, dedicated to selling more of the right products and learning new things every day.

The chance to feel like you are part of something big, something that can make the world easier, safer, and greener.

Definition of the go-to-market (G2M) strategy for my application, leading G2M activities, and – building on regional inputs – management of Infineon’s offering at application level.

A complete G2M strategy; an appealing application page with all its content including block diagram, whitepapers, and an application presentation; a comprehensive cross-division product offering.

Being part of a global team, being able to support a greener future, and getting the opportunity to learn new things every day.

One challenge I encountered in recent years was learning how to overcome the fear of making mistakes.

Things that inspire me the most are being ambitious, family, travel, overcoming challenges, and passion.

My job is extremely dynamic and exciting. I get the opportunity to work with teams and customers across the globe. I drive business growth for Infineon by enabling a system level approach that combines synergies between products to create value for our customers.

The awesome campus in Munich. Working for a company that believes in having a positive impact on society by making the lives of people easier, safer, and greener. Having colleagues willing to share knowledge and experience with each other.

As a Manager for Emerging Applications Marketing, my main goal is to think like an entrepreneur. I develop the application strategy for new and emerging use cases for Infineon, and strategically drive the business forward. I help to develop the application value proposition by combining synergies from different products. I initiate contacts and maintain strategic relationships internally as well as externally with partners and customers for my application area.

My current focus is on smartwatch and wearable applications. Infineon is a one-stop shop where our excellent solutions for power, sensing, connectivity, and compute enable the latest generation of wearable devices with high performance and exceptional battery life.

Innovation. New and emerging technologies. Team work and collaboration.

The biggest challenge is to develop an understanding of the market and the value proposition of Infineon in an emerging application as quickly as possible. Another challenge is to get an overview of all technologies and products at Infineon, because the company is big and has a huge product portfolio.

I am a believer in smart work as it helps me to be more efficient. I always like to team up for best results and I can set the right priorities and focus on tasks that have the biggest impact.
