The chance to have a high impact on the sustainability and decarbonization journey, while enjoying the benefits of working for a big company. The team spirit.

Setting up joint research projects with internal and external partners; applying for public funding for these projects; coordinating the projects and reporting on the results.

Cooperations between Infineon researchers and external partners from industry and academia; co-financing of Infineon research projects by accessing public funding; innovations for energy efficiency and decarbonization.

I can individually design and implement projects for decarbonization and efficiency. Insights into Infineon’s very broad range of activities and competencies (the “big picture”); interaction with diverse people (internally and externally); highly flexible working hours, a great team, project meetings all over Europe.

Large number of projects requires fast switching and high workload requires ability to prioritize.

I initiated and realized the first publicly funded research project on heat pumps at Infineon. I planned the project based on an internal stakeholder workshop with Infineon employees from four different sites. Large customers along the value chain joined the research project.
