Infineon emphasizes the “together“ spirit; we have several employee outings and quarterly events.

I work in the power delivery team. One of my main tasks is implementing features like high-speed data transmission, flexible power provisioning, and reduced wire demands on our power delivery microcontrollers.

I am dedicated to the implementation of Type-C PD in devices like laptops, monitors, and phones.

At Infineon, I am responsible for developing a power delivery controller now considered mainstream in many different products – the Type-C port. Given the high market share that Infineon solution enjoy, the outcome of our work reaches all over the world.

In addition to developing the firmware, clarifying and solving customer queries can be challenging. Fortunately, I work with excellent and experienced colleagues who can either give me useful suggestions or share similar debugging experiences. So ultimately, I have no big worries about work challenges.

My first job was working for the same company for 8 years. I would advise the young me to bravely step outside my comfort zone, always stay curious, look into different fields of work, and learn different skills and knowledge by deep diving into different products. This approach would help develop even more skills, experience different cultures, and build up a wider social network.
