What is special about working at Infineon?

Infineon is a unique company that is not afraid to give employees at all levels impactful and challenging projects to own and take them to the finish line, which is something I appreciate and enjoy as well. Infineon inspires me to keep innovating and working towards the best version of myself.

What are your main tasks?

My team builds innovative solutions that cross-sell state-of the-art Infineon products, with a focus on highlighting ICW value propositions for end-customer applications. We thus support the marketing team in achieving their revenue targets.

What are your job highlights?

1. Developing innovative, customer-friendly solutions using state-of-the-art Infineon products.

2. Helping the marketing team to engage with customers better by sharing the deep technical know-how required to refine and pitch high-quality solutions.

What are your biggest challenges?

The responsibility of steering end-to-end solution architecture and development in a technologically complex domain has challenged my leadership skills and enhanced my ability to guide my team. My major ideas and influences revolve around building and maintaining trust to guide people through challenges, risks, and changes, as well as their daily work. Without trust, I may be able to persuade or force people to comply, but they’ll never tap into the full commitment, capabilities, and creativity the group as a whole can offer.

Is it better to be extradordinary and late, or good and on time?

Time is precious ‒ late means the opportunity is gone. Perfection has no limits and I believe everything has its own imperfections and it’s totally OK! Imperfections can be fixed later if you want, but you will never get that time back. “Good is better than the best.”
