What is special about working at Infineon?

Enabling products for the most important car manufacturers in the world.

What are your main tasks?

My daily focus is on firmware and software development for the validation of AURIX™ flash memories. I work on AURIX™ microcontrollers, designed and developed for the automotive market. The main goal of my team is to characterize and validate the flash memory of these devices. We develop our own firmware and tools to achieve this.

What are the results of your work?

I have three main work results: analysis reports, microcontroller testware (firmware for testing purpose), and a desktop application used to run tests on the microcontrollers. 

What are your job highlights?

I work in a young and proactive team and my job is very exciting because I like what I do: electronic and software/firmware development. 

What are your biggest challenges?

The products are very complex, so I‘m still learning a lot!

What are you most proud of?

I developed the Graphical User Interface (GUI) for a desktop application used to test our chips and it is now used by many colleagues across different sites.

At the beginning, I didn’t know anything about GUI development, so I’m very proud of it.
