Daniel Glanznig new Head of Procurement at Infineon Austria

Villach, 6 September 2023 - A handover in the Procurement Department at Infineon Austria: Daniel Glanznig will take over as Head of the Procurement Department on 1 September 2023, from Petra Darnhofer-Demar, who will retire at the end of October.  

 

As the new Head of Procurement, Daniel Glanznig (41) has overall responsibility for procurement at Infineon Technologies Austria AG. He will ensure that high-quality products and services continue to be purchased cost-effectively and provided on time. Daniel Glanznig holds a Master's degree in Management and International Business from Karl Franzens University in Graz. The Villach native started his career at Infineon in October 2011 as a buyer at Infineon Austria. Since then, Glanznig has held various national and international positions in the purchasing department at Infineon. Most recently, he was responsible for the global purchasing of materials for electronic functional tests of semiconductor products.

 

Daniel Glanznig takes over the management of the 23-member Infineon Austria purchasing team from Petra-Darnhofer-Demar, who has filled this role with great success and commitment since 2016. After 26 years at Infineon Austria, Petra Darnhofer-Demar is taking her well-deserved retirement at the end of October.
