The XE166U combines the extended functionality and performance of the C166SV2 core with powerful on-chip peripheral subsystems and on-chip memory units. The following key features are available within the range of XE166U devices: Intelligent on-chip peripheral subsystems, integrated on-chip memories, high-performance 16-bit CPU with a five-stage pipeline and MAC unit, control-oriented instruction set with high efficiency, and safety support features.
