MOTIX™ BTN99xxLV Software design and device driver
The MOTIX™ BTN99xxLV is a family of single half-bridge ICs (integrated circuit (IC)) for brushed direct current (DC) motor drive applications. The devices provide a hardware interface to control the output stage, configure the slew rate and read back diagnosis information. This document provides an overview of the device driver to enable a quick and easy start with the device. The MOTIX™ BTN99xxLV device driver is a microcontroller-independent device driver and requires only an interface to the microcontroller's general purpose input output (GPIO) and analog-to-digital converter (ADC) peripherals. The driver provides an application programming interface (API) for easy configuration and diagnosis of the device. This application note must be used in conjunction with the device datasheet.
