Designing a new power electronics system is never easy, especially when using new technologies. But you can achieve a first-time-right GaN design with a few tips and tricks!

This webinar will teach the fundamental principles of GaN-based design, including gate driving, PCB architecture and layout, measurement, and finally, how to quickly diagnose and troubleshoot issues. Attendees should have a basic working knowledge of power electronics schematic design and PCB layout, as well as lab testing and waveform measurement.

After learning the techniques presented in this webinar, you will go into your next project with the confidence and skills to optimize GaN switching performance and deliver an optimized system design quickly.

  • Gate driving guidelines for high- and medium-voltage GaN transistors
  • PCB architecture and layout tips for the best switching performance
  • How to measure and optimize switching waveforms as a final step
  • Avoiding and troubleshooting common issues in GaN designs
