He has previously held positions as Power & Sensor Systems (PSS) division Asia Pacific Regional Center Head and Automotive (ATV) division Asia Pacific regional segment marketing head since joining Infineon in 2004.

Francis holds a Bachelor’s degree in Electrical & Electronics Engineering from Nanyang Technological University (NTU-EEE), a postgraduate diploma in Marketing from the Chartered Institute of Marketing (UK), and an MBA from the University of Birmingham Business School (UK) earned in 2017.

National Robotics Programme

Director with almost two decades of experience spanning business development, general management, marketing and communications, and ecosystem building across the private and public sectors. For the past eight years, his work has centred on robotics and embodied AI - beginning in business development and marketing communications for a Singapore robotics and precision engineering company, then as founding employee of a robotics joint venture in Thailand, building operations from the ground up through the pandemic, followed by leading a robotics training academy, and now driving industry partnerships and ecosystem development at Singapore's National Robotics Programme (NRP). 

At NRP, he oversees a translation fund, manages international partnerships, and drives Singapore's positioning as a trusted global hub for robotics and embodied AI. His work connects startups, researchers, and global corporations - helping bridge the gap between lab and market across strategic sectors.

Jimmy Yam is the Vice President & General Manager, for Eaton Electrical sector, East Asia. He has served in this role since 2016, managing more than 400 employees with sales of approx. US$350M. Yam is responsible for driving the growth of Eaton’s electrical business in the East Asia commercial organization, which includes Japan, Korea, Taiwan and the ASEAN region. He manages the region to drive demand, orders, customer service, logistics and warehousing. 

Prior to Eaton, Yam spent more than 26 years in the information technology industry and held senior regional sales and management roles for multinational companies including Dell, IBM, and EMC. Yam holds a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting from the National University of Singapore. He is also a member of the Institute of Certified Public Accountants of Singapore and the Certified Practicing Accountants Australia. Yam is located in Singapore.

Prof PS Lee obtained his BEng (1st Class Honors) and MEng from the Department of Mechanical Engineering at the National University of Singapore and was a Senior Tutor with the same department from 1999 to 2001. He then proceeded to obtain his PhD degree from the School of Mechanical Engineering, Purdue University, West Lafayette, USA in 2007. His current research interests include microfluidics and microscale heat transfer, high performance thermal management techniques (in particular microchannel single- and two-phase cooling) and hybrid solar energy harvesting systems. His work were published in top international journals and widely cited. One of his papers won the International Journal of Heat and Mass Transfer Most Cited Papers Award for 2005-2008. In addition, he developed various novel and effective passive techniques for enhancing the heat transfer performance of microchannel heat sinks and mitigating the critical issues of hotspots and large temperature gradients in electronics devices and holds 2 US patents related to these efforts. He is also the recipient of various awards including the 2009 Tan Kah Kee Young Inventors Award, 2011 Asia Pacific Clean Energy Summit Top 10 Defense Energy Technology Solutions Award and the 2011 Institution of Engineers Singapore (IES) Prestigious Engineering Achievement Award.
