This demo kit features XENSIV™ BGT24LTR11 pulsed-Doppler shield mounted on a Radar Baseboard MCU4 (based on XMC4700 MCU), via the SAMTEC connectors. This kit operates in pulsed-Doppler mode and is compatible with the DAVE™ based embedded software and Radar GUI, enabling easy radar sensor configuration and an immediate display of radar signals targeting motion, speed, and direction of movement detection. The XENSIV™ BGT24LTR11 FMCW shield embeds the BGT24LTR11 24 GHz radar sensor with 1Tx, 1Rx onboard antennas. Additionally, it is adaptable for use with other hardware, such as the Arduino UNO.

Features

  • Detects motion, speed and direction of movement
  • Detection range up to 18 m for humans
  • High sensitivity of detection in comparison to PIR
  • Arduino compatible baseboard
  • Changeable modulation parameters to suit use case
  • Current sensors for monitoring and optimization
  • Operates with Radar GUI (Legacy)
