Integration of the industry’s best-in-class OptiMOS™ technology MOSFETs with intelligent gate drivers is combined through Infineon’s superior packaging technologies into a high-quality power stage portfolio for use in Artificial Intelligence (AI), servers, storage, datacom, telecom, and consumer applications to power CPU/GPU/SoC/ASIC/memory rails. Integrated power stages are paired with multiphase digital controllers to form a complete DC-DC converter.
Infineon’s integrated smart power stage portfolio ranges from 20 A to 90 A peak current and are available in multiple packages. These powerstages offer excellent power conversion efficiency and thermal performance that result in best power density combined with fast protection features to enable reliable and robust operation over lifetime of the end system. Accurate output current and temperature telemetry also helps improve system intelligence and processor performance significantly.
