Staff Systems Engineer in Irvine, USA

Being resourceful to improve user experiences

Having joined Infineon California in 2017, Rosalyn has advanced from Senior Systems Engineer to Staff Systems Engineer. She networks with other expert teams to add Bluetooth® and Wi-Fi firmware solutions to Connected Secure Systems (CSS) products. She is self-motivated in her work, and relies on her strong eye for detail to get the balance right.

On a daily basis, I communicate with the RF hardware team or Wi-Fi team in India or San Jose to figure out the firmware solutions needed for RF tuning or co-existence between Wi-Fi and Bluetooth®. In my job, I get to implement system features on top of the latest Bluetooth® features.

What are your main tasks?

My main focus is on providing firmware solutions for various features supported by Bluetooth® systems.

What are the results of your work?

The direct results can be seen in better user experiences, such as reduced power consumption, as well as in smoother functionality when devices support multiple wireless protocols and standards such as Wi-Fi and Bluetooth®. More information can be found here.
