What is special about working at Infineon?

What are your main tasks?

Lead a team of in-house patent paralegals who directly file and maintain a worldwide patent portfolio. Support internal litigation, e-discovery and 3rd party data requests. Act as data privacy compliance officer for North America – drafting policies, assessing regional data privacy requirements and developing a privacy culture.

What are the results of your work?

The results of my team and myself‘s work is shown in Infineon‘s freedom to operate a defensive and monetizable intellectual property portfolio.

What are your job highlights?

Working with leading edge inventors and business leaders. Working for a company that ethically aligns with my desire for a more sustainable world. And solving complex problems that could only present themselves in an international company operating in every region of the globe.

What are your biggest challenges?

Dynamic legal landscapes where constantly changing requirements in export control, data privacy and intellectual property require flexibility and risk balancing.

What are the failures that you most cherish?

Failing to understand that being yourself is OK and encouraged.  We all have unique life stories and career experiences that contribute to a team‘s way of thinking.  Infineon encourages understanding our differences – and deploying them for the greater team‘s success (insights program).
