Munich, Germany – Hanoi, Vietnam – 9 June 2026 – Infineon Technologies AG (FSE: IFX / OTCQX: IFNNY) and VinRobotics have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to collaborate on the development of humanoid robots. VinRobotics, a Vietnam-based intelligent robotics company established by Vingroup, Vietnam's largest private conglomerate by revenue and a recognized force in the technology sector, brings deep regional expertise and industrial scale to the partnership. As part of this collaboration, a joint competency center will be established at VinRobotics' Hanoi office, serving as a dedicated hub for research, development, and innovation in humanoid robotics.

The partnership will leverage Infineon's comprehensive portfolio of semiconductor solutions to support VinRobotics' development of advanced robotic platforms. By combining VinRobotics' capabilities in robotics and AI with Infineon's leading microcontrollers, power systems, and sensors, as well as its expertise in connectivity, safety, and security solutions, both companies will work together to drive innovation in humanoid robots.

“As a global semiconductor leader and trusted partner to the robotics market, we support our customers from idea to mass production, helping them tackle critical deployment requirements such as efficient power flow, balanced movement, dexterity, robustness and fulfilling safety requirements. We provide the electronics foundation for physical AI at scale, built on profound system competency across the stack as well as on our industry leading safety and security expertise," said Philipp von Schiersteadt, Chief Sales Officer Compute, Consumer & Communication at Infineon. "Our collaboration with VinRobotics will focus on accelerating the development of next-generation humanoid robots for deployment in various sectors, from industry to services and the home.”

“We highly value the opportunity to engage with Infineon, a global technology leader with world-class semiconductor expertise and a strong technology ecosystem. The VRICC is intended to provide a meaningful platform for our teams to learn from Infineon's expertise, evaluate emerging semiconductor technologies, and explore areas of mutual interest. As VinRobotics continues to build core technology capabilities through engagement with a diverse range of world-class technology partners, we believe initiatives such as this one will help lay the foundation for a new generation of robotics solutions developed in Vietnam, serving both the domestic market and gradually expanding into international markets,” said Ngo Quoc Hung, Chief Executive Officer of VinRobotics.

This collaboration reinforces Infineon’s commitment to Southeast Asia, one of the world's most promising growth markets for robotics. The region's rapidly expanding manufacturing base, maturing technology ecosystem, and strong industrial modernization efforts are creating significant demand for next-generation robotics solutions, making it an increasingly attractive destination for robotics innovation and deployment at scale, and a deliberate focus of Infineon's global partnership strategy.

Infineon offers a comprehensive portfolio of Silicon (Si), Silicon Carbide (SiC), and Gallium Nitride (GaN) solutions, enabling all key functional blocks in a humanoid robot, with an average semiconductor bill of materials (BOM) of around $500 per robot. Infineon's solutions help customers develop robots that can perceive, think, and act safely, providing a wide range of solutions, including environmental sensing, compute, motor control, power management, wired and wireless connectivity, functional safety, and security.
