FAQ

Yes! To keep everyone safe and also enhance maximum diversity of countries participating, we decided to go fully online.
Note that we are rolling out this initiative within Europe so please make sure that you are participating while present in an EU country. Preferably southeast Europe.

The better your initial concept or your application idea, the more likely you will be accepted to participate. First come first served principle included. Also we especially want to encourage our friends from countries in southeast Europe to participate.

No, you can still define your project at the start of the hackathon. However if you already have a convincing idea it will increase your chance of a fast admission to the event.

Depending on your concept this could range from one person to several members. We suggest keeping your teams diverse and compact. Three or more people per team seem like a solid foundation.

For every hardware track you will be able to choose different components depending on your concept. Those components will be sent to you per mail. Software wise we will not restrict you from using any software you like. But we will recommend several tools to keep you working efficiently with special emphasis to the circuit designer track.

For everyone participating in a hardware track we will ship the according hardware to you before the start of the hackathon.
Keep in mind the application deadline on April 12.

Please make sure to act within your contry's COVID-19 guidelines when working together.
We recommend using as much digital ineraction as possible. If, however, an analog gettogether is essential - please have yourself tested before.

Please stick to the Austrian Startup Code of Conduct to engage in a respectful collaboration.
