PSOC™ Automotive Multitouch Gen6L
Enhance your in-car infotainment with PSOC™ Automotive and transportation Multitouch Gen6L
PSOC™ Automotive Multitouch Gen6L is an AEC-Q100 qualified, multitouch capacitive touchscreen and touchpad controller that is available in 64/100-pin TQFP and packages. It is a result of Infineon's more than 10 years in touch solution development and more than 200 man years in automotive firmware development. The Gen6L is powered by an Arm® Cortex® CPU, has 32 RX channels, 32 Flash, 32 SRAM, a touch sequencer, channel engine, programmable analog multiplexer, and a host processor with I2C/SPI for communication. One of the key features is waterproofing, which allows the sensor to work with water droplets, condensation, sweat, and wet-finger tracking. It also enables tracking of up to 5-mm thick gloves or thick overlays. The touch sensor has a typical refresh rate of 200 Hz and a low-power wake-up button with a power consumption of 50 μA. The proprietary analog front end, with AutoArmor, includes a true 5-V TX-Boost™ with Multi-Phase TX and 17 receive channels to support ≥200-Hz refresh rates.
The DualSense™ feature, with self- and mutual-capacitance analog front end, enables compliance with chip-level emissions, immunity, and system-level specifications.
