Tom LeMense is a Principal System Applications Engineer at Infineon, supporting Car Access, Automotive Infotainment, and Telematics applications. Tom has been deeply involved in automotive electronics for more than 30 years, specializing in mm-wave RADAR, ultra-low-power design, wireless sensor networks, and micromachined silicon pressure sensors. Prior to joining Infineon, Tom worked for TRW Automotive, Lear Corporation, and Ford Motor Company. He is a longtime member of the IEEE and SAE, and is a named inventor on more than 30 US patents related to RF Communication, Vehicle Safety, and Tire Pressure Monitoring. In his spare time, Tom enjoys camping, cross-country skiing, learning about wine, woodworking, and amateur radio (NR8P).
