München, 3. März 2026 – Die Infineon Technologies AG erweitert ihr DRIVECORE-Softwareportfolio um drei neue Bundles für eine einfachere und schnellere Entwicklung softwaredefinierter Fahrzeuge (SDV). Im Mittelpunkt steht ein neues Bundle für den virtuellen RISC‑V-Prototypen von Infineon – ein wichtiger Schritt in der Vorbereitung des Ökosystems für die kommende AURIX™ Mikrocontroller (MCU)‑Familie von Infineon auf Basis von RISC‑V. Mit diesem Schritt treibt Infineon den Übergang zu offenen, skalierbaren Rechen-Architekturen weiter voran und erleichtert es Kunden und Partnern, bereits vor Verfügbarkeit der Hardware mit der Softwareentwicklung für die nächste MCU-Generation zu beginnen.
Nächster Schritt Richtung RISC‑V‑Readiness
Infineon hat sich das Ziel gesetzt, RISC‑V als offenen Standard für die Automobilindustrie zu etablieren. Nach der Einführung eines virtuellen Pre‑Silicon‑RISC‑V‑Prototypen auf der Embedded World 2025 integriert Infineon nun ein entsprechendes Software-Bundle in sein DRIVECORE-Portfolio. Damit bietet das Unternehmen Automobilentwicklern unmittelbaren Zugriff auf eine gebrauchsfertige RISC‑V‑Evaluierungsumgebung. Das Bundle kombiniert die AURIX RISC‑V iLLDs von Infineon, das Virtualizer Development Kit (VDK) für RISC‑V von Synopsys, den Automotive‑Grade‑C/C++‑Compiler von HighTec auf Basis von LLVM sowie TRACE32® Debug‑ und Trace‑Lösungen von Lauterbach.
Diese vollständig vorintegrierte Umgebung ermöglicht es Kunden und Partnern, die RISC‑V‑Architektur zu evaluieren, Pre‑Silicon‑Softwareentwicklung im Sinne eines Shift‑Left‑Ansatzes zu starten und die Toolchain zu validieren. Dies führt zu erheblich geringeren Entwicklungsrisiken und verkürzt Markteinführungszeiten. Das Bundle ist cloud‑basiert, wodurch die Evaluierung noch schneller und einfacher wird.

Ausbau des DRIVECORE-Ökosystems über Architekturen hinweg
Zusätzlich zum RISC‑V‑Bundle führt Infineon zwei weitere DRIVECORE-Lösungen für zentrale Softwaredomänen in der Automobilindustrie ein.
Das PSOC™ DRIVECORE Smart-End-Point-Bundle, entwickelt gemeinsam mit Elektrobit und IAR, kombiniert Infineons bewährte PSOC-Hardware mit der EB tresos AutoCore Light Software von Elektrobit und der zertifizierten Embedded‑Toolchain von IAR. Es bietet eine sofort einsatzbereite Basis für Smart‑Endpoint‑ECUs – von den ersten Code‑Builds bis zur Generierung von einsatzbereitem Produktivcode mit funktionaler Sicherheit.
Das AURIX DRIVECORE AUTOSAR-Bundle integriert Infineon‑MCAL‑Treiber, Elektrobits EB zoneo GatewayCore und die EB tresos AutoCore‑Software sowie die TASKING SmartCode C/C++ Compiler Toolchain. Es ist für leistungsoptimierte Domänen‑ und Zonen‑Controller‑ECUs ausgelegt und beschleunigt die AUTOSAR‑basierte Entwicklung bei gleichzeitiger Minimierung des Integrationsaufwands.
Einheitliche, skalierbare Softwarebasis für SDV‑Innovation
Alle DRIVECORE Bundles folgen denselben Prinzipien: vollständig integrierte, vorgetestete Software‑Stacks, kombiniert mit bewährten Tools und begleitet von einer dreimonatigen kostenlosen Evaluierungslizenz. Dies ermöglicht sofortige Produktivität, reduziert den Migrationsaufwand und eliminiert Komplexität im Lieferanten‑ und Lizenzmanagement.
Zum Start umfasst das erweiterte Ökosystem führende globale und regionale Partner, sodass Kunden auf eine breite Palette an Tools, Middleware, Bibliotheken und Entwicklungskompetenz über RISC‑V‑, Arm®‑ und TriCore™‑Architekturen hinweg zugreifen können.
