Infineon mit drei Produkten im Rennen um den CES® 2023 „Innovation Award“: EXCELON™ F-RAM, XENSIV™ CSK und Smart Alarm System

München – 7. Dezember 2022 – Drei Produkte der Infineon Technologies AG wurden als CES® 2023 „Innovation Award Honoree“ ausgewählt. Bei den Produkten handelt es sich um den EXCELON™ F-RAM, das XENSIV™ Connected Sensor Kit (CSK) und das Smart Alarm System (SAS) für Smart Homes. Für den diesjährigen Wettbewerb wurden über 2.100 Bewerbungen eingereicht – ein Rekordwert. Die Ankündigung erfolgte im Vorfeld der CES 2023, eine der weltweit einflussreichsten Technologieveranstaltungen. Die Fachmesse findet vom 5. bis 8. Januar in Las Vegas, Nevada, statt.
Die CES Innovation Awards, die von der Consumer Technology Association (CTA)® vergeben werden, prämieren jedes Jahr herausragende Design- und Ingenieurleistungen in 28 Produktkategorien der Verbrauchertechnologie. Die Produkte mit der höchsten Bewertung erhalten die Auszeichnung „Best of Innovation“. Eine hochkarätige Jury aus Branchenexperten, darunter Medienvertreter, Designer und Ingenieure, bewertete die eingereichten Produkte nach den Kriterien Innovation, Technik und Funktionalität, Ästhetik und Design.
Von Infineon wurden drei Produkte als CES 2023 „Innovation Award Honoree“ nominiert:
- EXCELON F-RAM von Infineon – der F-RAM mit der höchsten Dichte auf dem Markt und Geschwindigkeiten von bis zu 54 MB/s. Die wichtigsten Merkmale von EXCELON sind die hohe Dichte, Leistung und Zuverlässigkeit. EXCELON ist der ideale Datenerfassungsspeicher für tragbare medizinische Geräte, Wearables, IoT-Sensoren, Industrie- und Automotive-Anwendungen. Die Produktfamilie umfasst außerdem den EXCELON LP, den Ultra-Low-Energy F-RAM für tragbare medizinische Geräte und Wearables. Die Serie verfügt über mehrere Energiesparmodi, darunter Hibernate, Deep Power Down und Standby, und benötigt 200 mal weniger Energie als EEPROMs und 3.000 mal weniger Energie als NOR-Flash. Das Produkt ist auf dem LVCC West-Stand 3829 zu sehen.
- SAS von Infineon – ein mehrschichtiges Sicherheitssystem, das akustische Daten von XENSIV Mikrofonen und barometrische Daten von XENSIV Luftdrucksensoren erfasst und über Sensorfusion-Algorithmen auf MCUs der PSoC™-Familie zusammenführt. Dadurch schützt es zuverlässig gegen Einbrüche und Eindringlinge. Das System basiert auf TinyAI-Algorithmen für maschinelles Lernen, die akustische Ereignisse, Druckveränderungen oder kombinierte Ereignisse in einer Sensorfusion-Architektur verwalten. Durch die Kombination von Audio- und Druckinformationen agiert das SAS nur bei den erwarteten Anwendungsfällen. Das System ist in den Ballsälen des Venetian Hotels, Titian 2204 und 2205, zu sehen.
- Das XENSIV CSK von Infineon – die erste all-in-one Sensorplattform für die Entwicklung von IoT-Geräten. Mit dem Kit können Designer neue Prototypen auf Basis von Infineon-Sensoren wie Radar- und Umweltsensoren entwickeln. Das CSK bietet IoT-Entwicklern die Möglichkeit, Produkte auf der Grundlage eines einzigen Entwicklungs-Ökosystems schnell zu entwerfen, zu entwickeln und herzustellen. Das Kit unterstützt außerdem das Testen von sensorgesteuerten IoT-Produkten und Anwendungsfällen sowie Prototyping. Dadurch können Kunden die Zeit vom Proof of Concept bis zum vollständig entwickelten, fertigen IoT-Design für Smart-Home-Anwendungen deutlich verkürzen. Das Kit umfasst einen XENSIV BGT60TR13C (60-GHz-Radar Sensor), einen PAS-CO2-Sensor und einen DPS368-Luftdrucksensor, einen PSoC 62 Low-Power-Dual-Core-MCU, Low-Power-Wi-Fi (Dualband - 2,4 und 5 GHz) und eine Bluetooth® 5.0-Kombination sowie OPTIGA™ Trust M Security-Komponenten. Darüber hinaus kann die ModusToolbox™-Software von Infineon genutzt werden. Das Produkt ist in den Ballsälen des Venetian Hotels, Titian 2204 und 2205, ausgestellt.
Neu auf der CES 2023 – Die CES hat sich mit der World Academy of Art and Science (WAAS) zusammengetan, um die entscheidende Rolle der Technologie bei den Bemühungen der Vereinten Nationen zur Förderung der menschlichen Sicherheit auf der ganzen Welt zu präsentieren. Für die CES 2023 hat die CTA eine neue Kategorie von Innovationspreisen eingeführt, die Technologien zur Förderung der Menschenrechte auszeichnen. Die Kategorie „Human Security for All“ umfasst acht neue Technologie-Unterkategorien.
Die Honorees des CES 2023 Innovation Awards, einschließlich Produktbeschreibungen und Fotos, sind unter CES.tech/innovation zu finden. Weitere werden im Januar bekannt gegeben. Viele der Preisträger werden ihre ausgezeichneten Produkte im Innovation Awards Showcase auf der CES 2023 vorstellen.
Die vom CTA ausgerichtete CES 2023 findet vom 5. bis 8. Januar 2023 in Las Vegas statt – die Medientage vom 3. bis 4. Januar 2023. Die Besucher werden neue Technologien von Weltmarken erleben, von Vordenkern über die Zukunft der Technologie hören und sich mit anderen Teilnehmern austauschen können. Die Messe zeigt, wie Innovationen in den Bereichen Nachhaltigkeit, Transport und Mobilität, digitale Gesundheit, Metaverse und anderen die größten Herausforderungen der Welt angehen.
