Project Managers have a significant role in the company: They pave the way for a growing business. Being on the Project Management Career path is a rewarding job for a true all-rounder who likes the thrill of seeing ideas turn into products. Do you have a passion for teamwork and communication with interesting people from different backgrounds? Do you like dealing with projects and products? If so, you’ll enjoy being in the driver’s seat of exciting projects. Meet Franziska Moissl from Villach, Austria. She will give us insight into her day-to-day work as a Project Manager at Infineon.
As a Project Manager you deal with interesting projects and products. That offers a lot of scope for action, both from a management and a technical perspective. You keep track of your project and always have the big picture in mind. As you accompany a product along the entire value chain, you always think at least one step ahead.
In addition, you have strong organizational and communication skills. This helps you breaking down complex issues and discuss a project with middle and upper management. As the corporate culture and atmosphere in the teams are fostering informal exchange, it helps to be a good communicator. To sum it up: Your job as a Project Manager is never routine or one-sided. No two days are ever the same.
Infineon’s work has a huge impact on people’s daily lives and on solutions for the future. As a Project Manager, you are a manager, a leader and an expert at the same time. You become experienced in managing large and complex projects. You’re one of the first to learn about the latest technological developments – and that keeps you two steps ahead of the rest.
The informal atmosphere with the team makes work fun – and at Infineon, you almost never see a suit. Infineon also gives employees the freedom to shape their workdays flexibly and independently.
And here comes the special thing:
