Villach, December 18, 2025 – Once again this year, the "Christmas Wish Tree" campaign at Infineon Austria made children's eyes light up: For the eighth time, Infineon employees fulfilled the Christmas wishes of children and young people from socio-educational institutions in the region. A total of 980 gifts were presented this year in the presence of Infineon Austria CEO Sabine Herlitschka and COO Thomas Reisinger.

The Christmas Wish Tree team at Infineon once again made the campaign possible in close cooperation with eight regional institutions: Amica Jugendbetreuung, Diakonie de La Tour, JOSEFINUM, Haus Antonius, SOS-Kinderdorf Moosburg, Kinder- und Jugendhilfe Villach, Kinder- und Jugendwohngemeinschaften Contraste, Pro Juventute Steiermark and Pro Juventute Oberösterreich. The children and young people individually designed their wishes on Christmas cards. Games, books, vouchers, clothing and cuddly toys were again very popular this year. Infineon employees picked these wishes on the virtual Christmas tree. This way, every gift arrives exactly where it is eagerly awaited. Since the start of the initiative, a total of around 5,000 wishes have been fulfilled.

Sabine Herlitschka, CEO of Infineon Austria: "Supporting social initiatives and educational institutions is an integral part of our corporate culture. I am particularly pleased to see how committed our employees are to this campaign and how they bring real joy to the children as wish-fulfillers. My thanks go to the entire team, who put so much heart and soul into making this wish tree possible every year."

Deeply rooted initiative since 2018

The wish tree campaign was launched in 2018 and has since developed into a cherished tradition at Infineon Austria. It combines humanity, meaningfulness and community – especially at Christmas time. The commitment of the employees is impressive: each and every one of them contributes to giving special moments and carefree hours.
