Overview

Infineon's CoolSET™ PWM quasi-resonant (QR) controllers deliver high performance and a complete protection suite for power conversion. The novel QR scheme narrows the switching-frequency spread between high and low line, lowering the EMI signature and letting designers use higher switching frequencies and smaller magnetics to cut system cost.
