The CLE9015DQU is a battery monitoring transceiver IC, ideal for connecting multiple Balancing & Monitoring IC devices in a daisy chain within a Li-Ion battery. Its two UART and iso UART interface pairs facilitate ring communication, enhancing system availability at a low cost. Additionally, it enables bidirectional information flow with an error management unit featuring programmable inputs and outputs on each Balancing & Monitoring IC.

Features

  • Compatibility for ring mode topology
  • 2 UARTs for host microcontroller
  • Two iso UART for BMS communication
  • 3 Mbit/s fast data rate
  • UART to iso UART transparency
  • Internal logic for UART pin count
  • High robustness against external noise
  • Two ext. fault inputs (EMM, ERRQ_ext)
  • Latching error pin for ext. MCU
  • Internal supply monitoring
  • Green Product (RoHS compliant)

Benefits

  • Resilient comms sans transformers
  • User-Friendly Primary Switch
  • Cost-Efficient Ring Topology Boosts
