As part of the XC166 family, the XC164CS microcontroller series is the high-end extension of the XC166 family focusing on body applications. With an extended memory size of up to 256 KB flash and up to 12 KB RAM running at up to 40 MHz, the microcontrollers are well suited for high-end BCM and gateway applications. This high-end extension of the XC166 family as well as new low-end, and high-performance products launching in 2010 have completed the rich portfolio of scalable products. XC164CS MCUs offer a state-of-the-art connectivity with up to 14 ADC channels. They are additionally characterized by a rich peripheral set with a General Purpose Timer (GPT12E) unit. The XC166 family devices use the package type P/PG-TQFP-100 plastic thin quad flat package.
