Our product portfolio for solid-state circuit breakers, which combine protection, actuation, load control, diagnostic, metering and secure communication in one, ranges from power switches and corresponding gate drivers to sensors, microcontrollers, memories, communication and security devices. This supports seamless system integration in combination with wide power range and feature scaling capability.

The power stage plays a crucial role in solid-state circuit breaker application. Infineon offers a broad portfolio of power switch solutions that are optimized for this application. Depending on the system voltage resp. system current Power MOSFETs as discrete devices or as power modules can be chosen.
The new CoolSIC™ JFET product family delivers minimized conduction losses, solid turn-off capability and high robustness. This makes them ideal for advanced solid state-protection and distribution.

Matching isolated/non-isolated gate drivers complete the power device portfolio for solid-state circuit breakers.

Used to measure both AC and/or DC currents, Infineon’s XENSIV™ - high-precision coreless current sensors provide accurate and stable current measurement.

The latest iteration of fixed frequency flyback controller and CoolSET™ offers a high level of integration with enhanced and comprehensive suite of protection. ISOFACE™ dual- and quad-channel digital isolators provide robust high-voltage isolation with precise timing and low power consumption.
