Why choose PSOC™ 4100S Plus 256 KB?

High performance, rich features, and adaptability—perfect for modern, mixed-signal embedded systems.

  • Two opamps with reconfigurable high-drive external and high-bandwidth internal drive and comparator modes and ADC input buffering capability. Opamps can operate in deep sleep low-power mode
  • 12-bit 1-Msps SAR ADC with differential and single-ended modes, and channel sequencer with signal averaging
  • Single-slope 10-bit ADC function provided by a capacitance sensing block
  • Two current DACs (IDACs) for general-purpose or capacitive sensing applications on any pin
  • Two low-power comparators that operate in Deep Sleep low-power mode

PSOC™ 4100S plus 256 KB  CAPSENSE™ can be used to build a self or mututal capacitive sensing applications.

Infineon’s 4th generation CAPSENSE™ offers improved sensitivity, faster response times, and enhanced noise immunity compared to previous generations. It supports advanced features like proximity sensing and operation in harsh environments, enabling more reliable and robust touch interfaces for a wider range of applications. Additionally, it provides lower power consumption, making it ideal for battery-powered and always-on devices.

In the PSOC™ 4100S Plus 256 KB MCU, CAPSENSE™ is supported through a Sigma-Delta (CSD) block that can be connected to any pins through an analog multiplex bus, via analog switches. CAPSENSE™ function can be provided on any available pin or group of pins in a system under software control.
