This evaluation board enabled by CoolSiC™ G2 is designed for high-efficiency, high-power-density applications like high-end servers and telecom. It features a bridgeless totem pole power factor corrector (PFC) with bi-directional power capability, suitable for battery charging/forming applications. The totem pole operates in continuous conduction mode in both rectifier and inverter mode, with digital control based on the XMC™ microcontroller.
