These microphones close the industry gap, providing the best possible fit for automotive applications. Automotive XENSIV™ MEMS microphones combine our proven expertise in the automotive industry with our technical leadership in high-end silicon microphones.
They are suited to all applications inside and outside the car, where the best audio performance in harsh automotive environments is required. These automotive microphones enable distortion-free audio capture for all speech-related applications, improving speech intelligibility for voice recognition algorithms. In addition, our sensors perfectly support acoustic noise cancellation with its flat frequency and stable phase response. Reality AI’s Automotive See-With-Sound (SWS) system detects and localizes threats that LOS sensors can’t see. Adding Automotive SWS to ADAS and AV systems makes vehicles even safer by using sound to detect and position a wide array of common threats to passenger safety. SWS uses XENSIV™ MEMS microphones(IM67D130A), the AURIX™ Microcontroller (TC387), and unique detection and localization software to give cars the ability to see around corners and through visual obstacles. This solution can detect and localize emergency vehicles, cars, trucks, motorcycles, bicycles, and joggers.
