For battery supplied BLDC motor control applications such as cordless power tools, gardening products or automated guided vehicles Infineon offers MOTIX™ 6EDL7141 and 6EDL7151 3-phase gate driver ICs.

MOTIX™ single half-bridge IC for BDC motors is a smart low-ohmic, protected half-bridge in a single package. This product has the capability to switch high frequency PWM while providing overcurrent, overvoltage and overtemperature protection. Target applications are electronic parking brake, active suspension control, fuel pumps as well as electronic seatbelt pretensioners, T-Case, HVAC control module, and many more due to its durability.

MOTIX™ multi half-bridge ICs for BDC motors: The MOTIX™ multi half-bridge ICs range from 2-fold half-bridge ICs to 12-fold half-bridge ICs, and are designed for motor control in applications such as  HVAC controle modules or decentralized mirror modules.

MOTIX™ full-bridge ICs for BDC motors  are engineered to deliver unparalleled functionality and efficiency. The devices are automotive qualified and can drive inductive or resistive loads. Typical application examples are door modules (i.e. door lock, e-charging lid) or the body control modules and zone control modules

A reference design for engine cooling fan application using MOSFETs with a gate charge > 100nC presents the current capability via the first worldwide integrated bridge driver capable to drive 1kW motors at 12V.
It combines Infineon´s grade 0 technologies using the TLE9879QXW40 (Embedded Power IC, SoC) with the IAUA250N04S6N007 (OptiMOS™-6 40V MOSFET in sTOLL package).

A reference design for auxiliary water pump application and it is capable to drive 12V BLDC motors up to 140W. It combines Infineon´s grade 0 technologies using the TLE9879QXW40 (Embedded Power IC, SoC) with the IAUC60N04S6N031H
(OptiMOS™-6 40V MOSFET in SSO8 package).
