The Safety Motor Control Application Kit (SMAK) is a demonstrative platform for dependable motor control in Braking and Steering apps. It features a fail-operational, dual three-phase inverter concept with Infineon's safe motor control chipset. The kit helps bring Steer-by-wire, Electro mechanical braking, EPS, or Brake booster designs to market quickly, with example software available and more advanced control software coming soon.
