The REF_CCG7DC_120W_2C was developed for a 2-port USB-C PD adapter. It can be used to support optocoupler-based or digital-based flyback converters. There are feedback signals such as PWM and I2C on the board that can be used for efficiency-optimized control. The design is based on EZ-PD™ CCG7DC which integrates dual channel USB-PD and DC-DC converter and it is capable of doing power-sharing among the port with fault protections.

Features

  • 2 ports USB-C PD adapter solution
  • 100 W max power per port
  • Configurable total power
  • Dynamic load-sharing
  • Multiport efficiency optimized control
  • Feedback control through PWM and I2C
  • Support PD 3.1 SPR with PPS
  • Support BC1.2, QC5, AFC, and Apple 2.4 A
  • 3.3 V - 21 V output voltage
  • 5.5 V - 24 V input voltage
  • Firmware upgrade through CC

Benefits

  • Meets DoE VI
  • Efficiency optimized control
  • No need external MCU
  • Support field firmware upgrade
  • PD 3.1 SPR PPS-compliant
  • Low standby power consumption
  • Single chip for dual-port solution
