This reference board features the XENSIV™ BGT60LTR11AIP radar sensor in autonomous mode. It serves as a cost-effective alternative to PIR sensors for battery-powered applications, operating as a Doppler motion sensor in the 60 GHz ISM band. The board operates without a microcontroller and detects motion and direction using only two GPIOs. Fully certified, it complies with CE and FCC regulatory requirements.

Features

  • 31.1 mm x 27.4 mm size
  • 1Tx 1Rx Antennas in Package (AIP)
  • 80° Half Power Beam Width (HPBW)
  • Radar MMIC configured in Autonmous mode
  • 2 LEDs indicating the detectors' outputs
  • FCC certification collateral

Benefits

  • Up to 7 m detection range for humans
  • Low power consumption
  • Requires minimal external circuitry
