The evaluation board, featuring EiceDRIVER™ 2EDF7175F, adopts a modular approach to drive bidirectional MOSFET switch boards (EVAL_BDPS_DD_TOLL/G) for prototyping battery protection systems for packs with nominal voltages up to 48V. It is used in lithium-ion battery applications to implement battery management systems and ensure safe operation by disconnecting the battery under critical conditions.
