About

Infineon's XE166L derivatives – the XE166L derivatives. These microcontrollers provide identical functionality to a large extent, but each device type has specific unique features.

The descriptions in this manual cover a superset of the provided features. For simplicity, the various device types are referred to by the collective term XE166L throughout this manual. The complete Pro Electron conforming designations are listed in the respective datasheets.

XE166xL series:

  • Offers a high level of system integration
  • Eliminates the need for additional peripheral devices and the associated software overhead
  • Provides system security and fail-safe mechanisms
  • Provides effective means to control (and reduce) the device’s power consumption

By registering for My Infineon Collaboration Platform (MyICP), you gain access to additional microcontroller information: Technical add-on documentation, training, tools, and much more. Please follow these steps to get started:

  1. Register at www.myinfineon.com with your company email address
  2. Send your access request to AURIX@infineon.com (with your MyInfineon login name)
  3. You will receive a confirmation explaining how to use your new access
