About

As part of the XC2200 family, the  XC226xN (LQFP-100) and XC223xN (LQFP-64) microcontroller series is the high-end extension of the XC2200 family focusing on body applications. With an extended memory size of up to 320 KB flash and up to 34 KB RAM running at up to 80 MHz, the microcontrollers are well suited for high-end BCM and gateway applications. This high-end extension of the XC2200 family as well as new low-end, and high-performance products launching in 2010 will complete the rich portfolio of scalable products. XC22xxN MCUs offer a state-of-the-art connectivity with up to two synchronizable A/D Converters (ADC). They are additionally characterized by a rich peripheral set with a General Purpose Timer (GPT12E) unit. The XC22xxN family devices use the package type PG-LQFP (Plastic Green - Low Profile Quad Flat Package)

  • Real Time Clock (RTC) with alarm interrupt
  • Watchdog Timer (WDT) with programmable time intervals
  • Bootstrap loaders for flexible system initialization
  • Protection management for system configuration and control registers
  • High performance 16-bit CPU with five-stage Pipeline and MAC Unit
  • Control oriented instruction set with high efficiency
