About

As part of the XC2200 family, the XC228xH (LQFP-144) and XC229xH (LQFP-176) microcontroller series is the high-end extension of the XC2200 family focusing on body applications. With an extended memory size of up to 1.6 MB flash and up to 138 KB RAM running at up to 100 MHz, the microcontrollers, are well suited for high-end BCM and gateway applications. This high-end extension of the XC2200 family as well as new low-end and high-performance products launching in 2010 will complete the rich portfolio of scalable products. XC22xxH MCUs offer a state-of-the art connectivity with up to 40 ADC channels. They are additionally characterized by a rich peripheral set with a General Purpose Timer (GPT12E) unit. The XC22xxH family devices use the package type Plastic Green - Low Profile Quad Flat Package (PG-LQFP).

  • Low power consumption
  • Low power modes
  • Parallel flash programming
  • Offers a high level of system integration
  • Eliminates the need for additional peripheral devices and the associated software overhead
  • Provides system security and fail-safe mechanisms
  • Provides effective means to control (and reduce) the device’s power consumption
