The TLF50241EL is designed for harsh automotive environments with a wide input voltage range of 4.75 V to 45 V. Its 2.2 MHz nominal switching frequency enables the use of small and cost-effective components, reducing output voltage ripple and board space consumption. In light load conditions, the device operates in Pulse Frequency Modulation (PFM) mode to optimize efficiency by minimizing internal power consumption during idle periods.
