XC86x series expands Infineon’s 8-bit XC800 microcontroller (MCU) family to provide more scalable performance and up to 16 KB flash memory for cost-sensitive automotive applications. Operating at up to 26.7 MHz.

About XC86x microcontrollers

As part of the XC800 family, the XC866 and XC866L microcontroller series is the high-end extension of the XC800 family focusing on body applications. With an extended memory size of up to 16 KB flash and up to 768 KB RAM running at up to 27 MHz, the microcontrollers are well suited for high-end BCM and gateway applications. This high-end extension of the XC800 family as well as new low-end and high-performance products launching in 2010 have completed the rich portfolio of scalable products. XC86x MCUs offer a state-of-the-art connectivity with up to eight ADC channels. The family includes features such as on-chip oscillator and embedded voltage regulator (EVR), supporting single voltage supply of 3.3 V or 5.0 V.
