About

PSOC™ 4 High Voltage Precision Analog 144K (HVPA-144K) is a fully-integrated, programmable embedded system designed with advanced features to deliver optimal battery monitoring and management performance. It boasts a 32-bit MCU subsystem, a 48 MHz Arm® Cortex®-M0+ CPU, and a memory of up to 128 KB code flash, 8 KB data flash, and 8 KB SRAM.

The system's precision analog channel subsystem features two 16-bit precision ΔΣ analog-to-digital converters (ADC), a voltage channel with a high-voltage input divider, a current channel with an automatic gain, and temperature and diagnostic channels. Additionally, digital filtering, accumulators, and threshold comparisons are available on all channels.

The system's programmable digital subsystem is composed of four 16-bit TCPWM blocks, one independent LIN block, and one SCB that supports configurations including I2C, SPI, UART, or LIN secondary.

The product family has a high-voltage subsystem that can operate directly off a 12 V battery and an integrated LIN transceiver.

PSOC™ 4 HVPA is developed compliant to ISO 26262, meeting all process requirements up to ASIL-C and hardware architectural metrics up to ASIL-B.

  • Enable precise State of Charge (SOC) and State of Health (SOH) tracking with high accuracy
  • Integrated MCU and software support allow autonomous operation, data storage, and fast time-to-market with flexibility
  • Complete solution fits into a compact small footprint package, enabling smaller PCB area and lower power consumption compared to a multi-chip solution

Automotive qualified softwares (AutoPDL, Auto CAPSENSE MW, SafeTlib)

PSOC™ Automotive Peripheral Driver Library (AutoPDL) and PSOC™ Safety Library for Automotive PDL (SafeTlib) simplify software development for the automotive PSOC™ 4 HV MCU architecture. The software packages are ASPICE qualified (MISRA 2012 AMD1, CERT C) and ISO 26262 compliant. The AutoPDL reduces the need to understand register usage and bit structures, thus easing software development for the extensive set of peripherals available. SafeTlib integrates critical safety tests which are mandatory as per the hardware safety manual to achieve ASIL-B compliance.
