The System Basis Chip serves as the main supply and interface for CAN automotive applications. It includes voltage regulators for the microcontroller and sensors, a HS-CAN transceiver for data transmission, highside switches with protective functions, and a 16-bit SPI for device control and monitoring. The device offers low-power modes and multiple wake-up options, designed to withstand the harsh conditions of automotive applications.
