The synchronous and seamless buck-boost regulation concept provides an efficient solution for circuits where the output voltage matches the input voltage, such as in short chains with 2 to 3 high-power LEDs connected to a 12V electrical system. It's also innovative for cost-optimized LED headlamps, driving multiple separately switched LED loads in one string with up to 55V string voltage using just one TLD5541-1QU.
