Overview

IR HiRel's Assured COTS+ family brings high-reliability to commercial-off-the-shelf (COTS) power components. Our plastic-packaged MOSFETs, available in a range of voltage options, undergo rigorous testing to ensure top performance, including a Tin-Lead solder dipping process to prevent whisker build. We offer our parts in 100% visually inspected bare die alternatives to enable utmost customization and flexibility without compromising on quality.

Key Features

  • Ultra-low Qrr
  • Low RDSDS(on)
  • 100% avalanche testing
  • AEC-Q101 & JEDEC qualified options
  • Tin-mitigated plastic packaging
  • 100% visually inspected bare die

About

Commercial-off-the-shelf (COTS) power components offer appealing cost and performance benefits to power applications. Additional screening, inspection, and value-adds give the high-reliability industry the assurance it needs to integrate COTS components in mission critical and extreme environment applications. Our Assured COTS+ portfolio addresses this need by combining size, weight, and power (SWaP) advantages with AEC, JEDEC, and visual inspection standards.

A focus on stable production, continuous improvement, and driving to zero defects are hallmarks of Infineon’s well-established quality management systems. With our IR HiRel heritage serving aerospace and defense manufacturers, we can meet strict customer needs for design control and development changes, part identification and traceability, risk management, and supply continuity.

Based on decades of compliance with MIL-STD requirements for our IR HiRel products used in defense, aerospace, and other high-reliability applications, Infineon has deep understanding of controlled manufacturing process and flow. Die per wafer bank inventory, as typically needed in long-lived HiRel systems, safeguards supply continuity.

Infineon IR HiRel offers high-reliability surface mount and thru-hole packaging for radiation hardened, radiation tolerant, and commercial/automotive needs. From ceramic SMDs to plastic LLCs and more, explore our site for package outlines, design guides, testing results and other schematics.
